Profile of system and product certification as quality infrastructure in Indonesia

Abstract Quality is a universal standard that expected by consumers of product or service used. Consumers in general cannot individually assess this quality, with the help an independent third party it can be done. The certification body one element quality infrastructure plays role providing assurance products and services according to applicable standards. There are various bodies Indonesia both for system certification, kinds additionally range accordance scope certification. However, not yet known generally condition Indonesia. aim study conduct profiling analyse using comprehensive tool order part country's infrastructure. results showed there were several elements fulfilled, especially terms legality national recognition. some still need improvement so do its ensure services.
